3. Reservations and Payments
- Reservations can be arranged via our website, over the phone, or directly at our Manchester location. A deposit may be necessary to confirm your booking. The total payment, along with a security deposit, is usually required at the time of vehicle pick-up. All prices are quoted in British Pounds (£) and include applicable VAT. We accept major credit and debit cards, processed securely through trusted payment platforms.
Vehicle Pickup and Drop-off
- At the time of vehicle collection in Manchester, a thorough inspection is required to identify any existing damage. It is important to report any findings immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and both parties will sign it for record-keeping. The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was collected, aside from normal wear and tear. The vehicle should be returned with the same level of fuel as received; refueling costs will be incurred if this requirement is not met. Cancellation and Modifications
Cancellation and amendment policies differ based on the type of booking and the notice provided. For precise information, please refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement. Be aware that late cancellations or no-shows could incur additional charges.
7. Restricted Activities
Prohibited Uses of Rental Vehicle
- The vehicle may not be used for any unlawful activities. This includes racing, off-road driving, or other dangerous pursuits. Transporting hazardous materials is prohibited. Sub-letting the vehicle or permitting unauthorized drivers is not allowed. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly forbidden. The vehicle should only be used for its intended purpose and within the specified passenger and weight limits. Driving outside the designated geographical area requires prior approval.
Breach of these terms may lead to rental termination and extra fees.
Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent allowed by English and Welsh law, Car Hire Manchester will not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business, resulting from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claims will not exceed the amount you paid for the rental in the last 12 months. This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury due to negligence or fraud.
